The WHAT:
We developed an aggressively textured and thoughtfully extended magazine catch/release for your Glock Gen4-5 Small Frame.
The WHY:
Do you like your Gen4-5 factory mag catch, or do you just stick with it since it's already in there? Like many shooters, we've found that the factory catch requires breaking our grip and significantly shifting the gun in our hand in order to actuate the mag catch and release the magazine. This forces us to completely rebuild our grip as we come back on target, requiring more time to accurately squeeze off that next shot. Enter the FACTR Mag Catch...
The HOW:
We moderately extended the minimum protrusion from the grip and ramped it out from there toward the muzzle. The ramped geometry provides a mechanical advantage that allows a more "forward" press. We then added an aggressive texture that provides solid engagement with your opposable digit. The result is a mag catch that gives the shooter improved reach, highly positive grip, and easier actuation for hands and thumbs of all shapes and sizes.

FACTR MAG CATCH FOR GLOCK® GEN4-5
This is an excellent product! It has an aggressively textured extended magazine catch/release that provides great feedback. Another thing that I like is that it does not look like an aftermarket part, and even though it's larger than the factory one, it will not interfere with your concealed carry if you carry inside the waistband (IWB). Great for IDPA and as an everyday carry (EDC) option.

I like it
Installed this mag release in my 19x. Noticed a difference immediately. Has great purchase and is just extended enough that actuating it is much easier for me than the oem glock release. And it’s low profile enough that it doesn’t interfere with my grip. Perfect size/profile. Would definitely recommend.

Factr mag catch
I have this mag catch on my custom Glock 19 gen5, also have the Factr trigger. Simply the best no questions added. Fit and finish top quality. Will buy again for sure.

Decent but not the best.
This product worked okay. I am used to using the Hyve extended mag release which I have in most of my guns... The Hyve one has a full extended shelf which comfortable but grippy texture on top. The FACTR one does not work quite as well because the slope down toward the back does not allow for it to be fully depressed from anywhere on the button. You have to reach forward which requires me to move my hand. Also the texture on it (or rather the shape of it) essentially causes you to push into a corner. This is not comfortable and even painful after a lot of use. I was fully expecting to be thrilled with this purchase, but it left me wanting more.

Mag Release
Love the fit and finish on this thing. The machine work is top notch with the knurls being aggressive enough to aid in the function but not sharp to the touch.

Functional Upgrade for Glocks
It appears really small when you first handle it, but after I installed it, I immediately noticed the difference than the oem mag release. I didn’t have to break my grip to ensure that the mag release was activated! Mags drop easily, WHEN you WANT them to. There is no accidental pressing of the release. This works great!!

Awesome upgrade
The machining and finish are flawless/extremely high quality. Works perfectly in a Get 4 in right and left handed configurations. Magazine retention and ejection functions have been perfect. The texture and the subtle ramped angle on the release are really well executed. It really helps for positive mag changes without having to change my grip and has improved the speed and fluidity of mag changes. Really well done, much better than the stock and most other aftermarket mag catches I've tried.
